Your Role
You will join their 1 core-team to work on a cutting-edge, high-performance data processing engine:
- Design and implement enhancements improving performance, stability and scalability of a high-performance data processing kernel.
- Test and maintain these enhancements.
- Cooperate internally with Product Management, QA and other teams.
- Occasional cooperate with partners and customers on product development .
Your Profile
- 4+ years of experiences in commercial (preferred) or open-source software development.
- 2+ years of experience with large-scale systems development.
- Excellent programming skills in C.
- Good script programming skills in Python, Perl & Bash.
- Excellent algorithm-design skills.
- Good knowledge of database technologies.
- Knowledge of Linux (or Windows) operating systems (memory management, IO, scheduling etc).
- Experience with concurrent, parallel and network programming techniques.
- Ability to work independently in a small, dynamic team.
- Experience in the areas of business intelligence, high-performance data processing and computer architecture is a plus.
- Master degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Excellent English communication skills – both written and spoken.
- The Employer is willing to organize a visa for candidates who meet ALL the criteria. However, they would prefer to hire people who already live in Europe and are free to work in the Netherlands.
